This is a free, online conference designed especially for medical students, allowing you to explore a career in research and academic in general practice. Cambridge GP Society put together a group of hardworking and enthusiastic med students from across the UK to organise this brand new event, with close support from the Society of Academic Primary Care and the RCGP.
It will be a full day of exciting talks from GP researchers at all stages of their career, as well as interactive masterclasses. Hear about a range of career options from prominent professors and early-career trainees, to clinicians involved in cutting-edge research. Learn essential skills such as critically appraising papers and writing for publications, and find out how you can get involved in research too.
Attendance: the event is free to attend.
Abstracts: there are opportunities for UK medical students to present your research, with the best submissions invited to present live and prizes awarded to outstanding submissions. Deadline 18 May 2021.
