Welcome to Cambridge University General Practice Society!

Cambridge University GP Society aims to bolster interest in careers in general practice amongst our medical student peers, working with the Cambridge University School of Clinical Medicine, GP Education Group (GPEG), and the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP). We are affiliated to the RCGP and work with the Student Projects Group. The student committee is kindly supported by local GPs via our GP Advisory Board.

We promote General Practice via our three core activities:

1. An annual day-long symposium incorporating guest speakers and student presentations.
2. Regular focused evening events with a single speaker, often a GP with Specialist Interest, and frequently in collaboration with another student society.
3. A strong online presence highlighting the variety within General Practice via social media and our website.
